Description

The Lewis monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 8 metres north-east of the chancel of the Church of All Saints. It dates from around 1800 and is made of Ham stone. The tomb features a moulded plinth on a step, with one panel on each face and reeded pilasters on the sides. There is no frieze, and it has a moulded hipped top with rounded leading edges. The monument commemorates Thomas Fry Lewis, who died in 1799, along with others.
