Description

This is a chest tomb dedicated to John Leech, who died in 1847. Constructed from grey stone, it is rectangular with chamfered corners that splay outwards towards the top. The tomb stands on a base formed of paired lion feet. The lid is darker in colour, features gadroon patterning, and has an ogee section. An urn finial sits atop a flame feature at the centre of the ridge.
