Description

The walled garden located to the north of the Manor House dates from the late 18th century. It features garden walls made of brown and blue brick with brick-on-edge coping. The walls have a rectangular plan, with the south walls standing about 6 feet high and extending 80 feet in length. The east wall is similar in height. The north wall decreases in height to approximately 3 feet in the eastern half. The west wall is around 9 feet high, making it a prominent feature along the village street. There are gateways on the south and east sides of the garden. Some refurbishment occurred in the 20th century.
