Description
This is a barn located to the northwest of the Manor House, dating from the early 18th century, with 19th-century extensions at both ends. The barn is timber framed and sits on a brick plinth, featuring weatherboard cladding and a plain tiled half-hipped roof. It steps down to the left and has a catslide roof over a front pentice aisle to the right. The main barn consists of five framed bays and includes three double garage doors positioned to the left of the center. There are also double garage doors on the extension, a single door, and an inserted casement window on the ground floor to the right. A loft door is located on the first floor of the right-hand return front, which has rat trap bond brick infill. Inside, the barn features a queen strut roof with windbracing in the center bay. The west wall of the barn is a notable feature along the village street, with sandstone blocks to the right. Additionally, there are two dormers in the roof.
