Description
The gateway and north boundary wall to Odcombe Rectory is likely from the early 19th century and is constructed from Ham stone ashlar. The gateway features two tall octagonal piers, approximately 3 meters high, which have a plinth, a frieze band, and simple shallow painted caps. These piers are connected by concave curved walls that are about 1.5 meters high and also have matching plinths and coving. A 20th-century metal gate is situated between the piers. The walls continue east and west in coursed rubble work, standing about 2.75 meters high, with plain copings, enhancing the setting of Odcombe Rectory.
