Description

The railings, gate, dwarf walls, and piers at Cothelstone House Lodge were built in 1818 and designed by Charles Harcourt Masters. The wrought iron gates feature spearhead railings that are set within curved dwarf walls made of yellow sandstone ashlar. These walls end in piers made of ashlar that rise to 4 metres high, which were obscured by ivy at the time of the survey in March 1983.
