Description

Sidelands is a late 18th-century house located on the west side of Northtown Road in North Wootton. The house is constructed of coursed and squared rubble with a triple Roman tile roof, coped verges, and brick stacks at the ends. It has two storeys and an attic, with a three-bay symmetrical front. The first floor has flush-mounted 12-pane sash windows, each beneath a wooden lintol. The ground floor features similar flush-mounted 16-pane sash windows, with a small 12-pane casement window in the centre. A single-storey outshut is located to the right, containing a 6-panelled door with the top two panels glazed, and a 19th-century wooden porch. A flush-mounted 12-pane sash window sits to the right of the door opening.
