Description
North Wootton Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with some alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed from random rubble with some dressed quoins and features three ashlar ridge stacks with moulded caps, as well as coped verges and a triple Roman tile roof. The building has an L-shaped frontage and is two storeys high. The left section has two bays and irregular fenestration, with three-light casements set under wooden lintels. The door opening is nearly central, featuring a 20th-century six-panelled door designed in an 18th-century style. To the right of the door, there is a broad sloping buttress. The projecting wing to the right has a front-facing gable and a single 20th-century casement on the first floor, while the left return has two three-light casements, with the first-floor window featuring glazing bars.
