Description

This is an outbuilding, possibly a former cottage, located about 30 metres south of Lamb Farmhouse on Vicarage Street. It dates from the 17th century and is constructed from cut and squared Ham stone with ashlar dressings. The building features a plain clay tiled roof with stepped coped gables and lacks a chimney stack. It is a single-storey structure with an attic and consists of three bays. The first bay is blind, the second bay has a wide boarded door beneath a timber lintel, and the third bay contains a 2-light ovolo-mould mullioned window with a square label above it. Attached to this outbuilding is a later addition, which has a 2-light hollow-chamfer mullioned window in the north gable, along with a casement window above in the blocking of a former loft door. The interior has not been seen.
