Description
This is an outbuilding attached to the east end of Vicarage Farmhouse, dating from the 17th century, with significant remodelling and additions made in the 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed from coursed rubble limestone with gritstone dressings, featuring a coped gable and moulded kneelers at the west end. The roof is covered with corrugated sheeting. The building is two storeys high and has ten bays, which include seven doorways. Four of these doorways are in coupled pairs at the west end, all featuring massive lintels and quoined surrounds. The eastern part has a full height opening with a quoined surround and double doors, along with a lower double door further east. There are three square openings on the first floor. This building is listed for its group value only.
