Description

The Oddfellows Hall, dated 1872, is a building constructed of coursed squared limestone with gritstone dressings, vermiculated quoins, a moulded and projecting eaves cornice, and end wall brick stacks with decorated caps. It has a hipped roof covered in Welsh slates and finials along the main ridge.

The building is two storeys high and features three bays. The central bay is distinguished by giant pilasters topped with a coped ogee gable, which incorporates a clock face and a finial. The ground floor windows are coupled sashes set beneath shallow arched heads, all contained within a wider four-centred arch. This arch has a carved keyblock, a glazed fanlight and double doors, each with three panels. Above the doorway is a two-light window with semi-circular headsprings radiating from a central column within a recessed arch featuring a decorated spandrel, all beneath a semi-circular head with a keyblock. An inscription above reads 'Oddfellows Hall 1872'.
