Description
The Vicarage is an early 19th-century vicarage that has undergone later remodelling. It is constructed from coursed squared rubble limestone with gritstone dressings, featuring chamfered quoins, coped gables, ashlar stacks, and a Welsh slated roof. The roof was originally gabled but was changed to its current hipped form in the early 20th century.
On the southeast elevation, the building is two storeys high with three bays. It originally had glazing bar sash windows, but the glazing bars have been removed except for the central window on the first floor. The ground floor has canted sash windows beneath flat leaded roofs. The central doorway is located within an open porch supported by square stone columns, which have a moulded cornice and a flat roof. The door is a 20th-century half-glazed design, topped with a rectangular fanlight.
