Description
Gawbridge Mill House is a 18th-century miller's house. It features ashlar stone and coursed, squared rubble on the returns, with a moulded eaves cornice and a hipped tile roof. The house has polygonal ashlar stacks with moulded caps and a gabled attic dormer that contains a 2-light casement window with glazing bars. The symmetrical Georgian front is adorned with 16-pane sash windows set in moulded freestone architraves. The central door opening has a pedimented stone architrave with pilasters and a 20th-century glazed door.
