Description
Ridgegrove Millhouse is a 18th-century miller's house located in Launceston. The building features a rendered exterior on rubble, with slate hanging on the right-hand gable and a steep rag roof that has rendered end stacks. It has a shallow-depth rectangular plan, standing two storeys plus an attic, and includes a three-window range. The front has 20th-century casements with glazing bars and a central gabled porch that contains a six-panel door. The rear also has a three-window range, featuring 20th-century horned sashes with glazing bars, except for an early 19th-century sixteen-pane hornless sash in the centre of the ground floor and a wide three-light casement to its left. The right-hand end has a window on the right, a sixteen-pane sash above two 20th-century twelve-pane casements, and a similar casement on the left. The interior has not been inspected.
