Description
Arrow Lodge is a former miller's house dating from the 18th century, with late 19th-century additions. The building is constructed of ashlar stone and features a slate roof with ashlar ridge stacks. It stands two storeys high with an attic and has a five-window range. The central window is a plain late 19th-century sash, flanked by tripartite windows also with plain sashes. The 19th-century wings have plain sashes as well, and there is a coved cornice leading to an open pediment that includes a lunette window. The moulded eaves are present on the wings.
The central entrance consists of a late 19th-century part-glazed six-panel door with a plain overlight, situated under a modillioned porch supported by square columns and pilasters. Bay windows with plain sashes under modillioned cornices flank the entrance. To the left wing, there is a glazed door with a plain overlight beneath a semi-circular arch. The right side of the building is finished in late 19th-century brick and features an ashlar stack.
