Description

11, 12, and 13 Bridge Street are houses that date from the late 18th century, with an earlier core. The buildings are finished in stucco and roughcast, topped with a Welsh slate roof and featuring a brick cross-axial stack on the left side. They stand two storeys tall with an attic and have a five-window range. The windows include two 2/2 sashes, a 6/6 sash, two late 19th-century paired 6/6 sashes, and two additional 6/6 sashes, all set in broad moulded cases. The gable features a moulded and modillioned wood cornice with an ogee-headed light with a guard, and the left gable has a round-headed light.

The entrance to No. 11 has a four-fielded-panel door with an overlight that includes glazing bars, situated in a moulded case and flanked by late 19th-century 2/2 sashes. To the right, there is a passage leading to the rear, which has exposed ceiling beams and a weatherboarded plank door on the left side. No. 12 features a similar door but with an ornate swagged fanlight, set beneath a moulded and modillioned wood open-pediment hood supported by fluted pilasters. To the right is a 6/6 sash, and to the left are late 19th-century paired sashes. No. 13 has 19th-century margin-glazed double doors with an overlight that includes glazing bars, and to the left, there is a boarded shop window beneath a fascia board and hood, with roughcast above.

Inside No. 13, there is a corner fireplace and a 19th-century winder stair with stick balusters and a colonnette newel.
