Description
Mill House is a former miller's house dating from the 18th century and later. It is constructed of brick with traces of limewash and has pantile roofs. The building features a lobby entrance type plan and is two storeys high with an attic. The facade includes seven sash windows with glazing bars, and there are three ground floor windows set beneath skewback arches. The front door, which is off-centre, is a 19th-century panelled door with a plain 20th-century doorcase. There is also a modern glazed door at the northern end. The gables exhibit tumbling-in, and there is an off-centre axial stack. The north gable-end has two original 2-light windows and one 3-light window, all with metal casements. At the rear, there is a contemporary single-storey extension that includes two original 3-light windows with metal casements, as well as a later lean-to.
