Description

Weir Bridge is a former road bridge that likely dates from the 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features four segmental vaults. The downstream side has a long, swept parapet with triangular coping, while the upstream side has a shorter parapet with blue bullnose coping. There is a sluice-gate located at the upstream side of the easternmost vault. This bridge is included for its group value with Mill House.
