Description
The barn dates to the 17th and 18th centuries. It is constructed of brick with a pantile and corrugated tile roof. The east gable-end wall is partially original, built with smaller bricks in English bond, featuring black header lozenge patterns. The remainder of the barn's fabric dates to the 18th century. There are two cart entrances and four cast iron window frames, each with a segmental head, on the north side. Several ventilation loops are blocked. A single doorway is located on the south side. The gables have owl holes and tumbling-in features. The roof structure includes wedge-tenoned butt-purlins, collars, and alternating ties. Later additions have been made to the barn.
