3/116 Valley Farm House.

Farm House, C17, and probably timber framed, its eastern bay, extended and incorporated in the early C18 to form a 6 irregular bayed principal wing of 2 storeys and attics, of red brick with black pantile roof. The timber frame incorporated into brickwork later in the C18 Principal facade with replacement C18 oak casement windows and central door with moulded timber architrave, in original openings with flat gauged brick arches. Modillion eaves cornice. The north elevation contains C18 oak casement window with wrought iron light in the angle of the C19 outshut. Elsewhere C20 windows in original openings. Parapet eaves with brick tumbling in. 3 gabled dormers to the south with wrought iron casement windows. End stacks to principal wing. The interior much altered in 1970's, with re-used antique fittings. C17 open fire place with timber bressumer, centrally to western range. Exposed tie beams, stopped and chamfered floor beams and evidence- of timber framing. Eastern range roof with butt purlin roof and straight wind bracing.
