Description

Blackwater Farm House is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th century and has been significantly rebuilt since then. It is constructed from colourwashed brick and features a steeply-pitched pantile roof that is hipped on the southeast side. The building has two storeys and an L-shaped plan, with parapetted gables. There are 19th and 20th century casement windows, along with large four-light windows that have drip moulds in the west gable. The ground floor includes two sash windows with glazing bars. There are central chimneys in each wing, and the entrance door is located opposite the stack in the south range, set in a splayed internal angle. Some openings have been blocked.
