Description
Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th century and later. It is constructed of brick and features a pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, which were extended by one bay in the 19th century. The facade was re-faced in the 19th century and includes four mullion and transom windows set beneath skewback arches with cambered soffits. There is a central front door that has a rectangular fan light above it. The original masonry can be seen at the rear and on the north gable end, which displays diapered brickwork and a tumbled-in gable. The gable features a moulded-brick corbel and retains its original gable-end stack. The axial stack and roof have been rebuilt, and there is a 20th-century lean-to added to the rear.
