Description

TG 00 NE BARNHAM BROOM NORWICH ROAD (north side) 3/15 Hollandshill Farmhouse II

Lobby-entrance type house with a later side extension in Tudor style. C17 and extension dated 1866 on datestone. Original house rendered timber-frame and thatched roof; extension rendered masonry and decorative plaintiled roofs. Original house of one storey with attic. 2- and 3-light windows with leaded lights, 2 gabled dormers and an off-centre axial stack. Extension of 2 storeys with an attic gable. 2- and 3-light leaded windows, a gabled porch with imitation timber-framing. Decorative ridge-tiles and Tudor style chimneys.
