Description

Sayers Farmhouse is a lobby-entrance type house dating from the 17th century with later alterations. The house has a timber frame, originally rendered, built on a masonry plinth, with brickwork at the rear. It is covered by a pantiled roof. The house is two storeys high, with an irregular arrangement of 2- and 3-light casement windows featuring horizontal glazing bars. A doorway is positioned opposite an off-centre axial stack. The roof was altered later with a shallow pitch and shaped eves sprockets. 20th-century extensions have been added to one side.
