Description

Swallow Cottage is a cottage from the 18th century, with a 19th-century side extension. It is built of colourwashed brick and has a pantiled roof. The cottage is a single storey with an attic and features irregular window arrangements, including two 4-light casements with glazing bars. The entrance has a 19th-century two-leaf door set within a moulded doorcase. There are three sloping dormers and gable-end stacks. The gable of the extension displays tumbling-in and tie-ends that form the initials T.B.
