Description
This is a 17th-century lobby-entrance type farmhouse. It is a timber-frame building, now rendered, with a pantiled roof. The house has two storeys and an attic. The windows are irregular and have leaded glazing, with five 18th-century three-light casement windows with transoms on the ground floor. A doorway is situated opposite an off-centre axial stack. The roof is steeply pitched. At the rear are two chamfered mullion windows, one of which is obscured by a later lean-to addition. The original timbers feature barred and stepped stops. A former staircase was located on the entrance side of the stack.
