Description

Turnpike Cottage is a cottage that probably dates from the 17th century. It features a rendered and underbuilt timber frame, with the west gable end constructed of brick and flint. The cottage has a thatched roof and is a single storey with an attic. The windows are from the 20th century and include glazing bars, along with a single dormer window. There is a 20th-century open porch and an off-centre axial stack. The property has modern extensions added to the side and rear.
