Description
Glebe Farm House is a farmhouse built in the mid 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and a three-bay facade. A central porch with a pitched roof and a parapetted gable contains a terracotta plaque with a coat of arms. The entrance has a four-centred arched opening with a drip mould. The windows are tripartite casement windows set in chamfered brick reveals, each with rectangular hood moulds above. There is a small central light above the porch. The gables are parapetted and coped, with gable chimney stacks that have triple diagonally-set shafts. A dog-tooth brick eaves course adds detail to the roofline. On the north side, there is a lean-to with a slated roof, featuring casement windows with segmental heads and an attic skylight.
