Description
The barn and cart lodge at Glebe Farm, dating from the mid 19th century, is constructed of red brick with a pantile roof. It features a three-stead barn with a central double door opening that is flanked by plain brick pilasters. There are ventilation loops in the side walls and brick dentil eaves. The gables are parapetted with tumbling-in. At the north gable, there is a lower cart lodge, with the first floor supported on a timber beam and posts, creating two cart lodges on the west side. Additionally, there are two one-storey wings projecting on the east side that form a yard. This building is included for its group value with Glebe Farmhouse.
