Description
Wood Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century and later. It is constructed of red brick, with the north wall partly rendered over a timber frame. The building features a steeply-pitched pantile roof and has one and a half storeys. The windows are all 20th-century three-light wooden casements. The north wall includes one ground floor window and two pantiled wedge dormers. There is an axial stack that is slightly off-centre to the east. The brick return gables have parapets supported by moulded brick corbels, with a tall parapet on the east side. The west gable is rendered and has ground and first floor casements in segmental-headed openings. The south wall features two ground floor casements and two wedge attic dormers.
