Description

This is a late 17th and later brick garden wall and attached store, situated to the north and west of Hedenham Hall. The red brick wall has saddleback coping and plaintile coping. It originally enclosed the garden on its north, east, and west sides. A doorway in the centre of the north wall is swept upwards and has a datestone dated 1908 above the door. A central gateway on the east side has been blocked and replaced with iron railings set on a brick plinth.

A garden building of red brick and pantile with crow-stepped gables is located centrally in the west wall. The east wall of this building has two door openings, one with its original door, and three square openings. The south gable has two doors, and an attic hatch. The interior of the building has a renewed or inserted floor. A staged buttress is located at the north-west corner of the wall.

On the west side, the boundary wall extends south to a pedestrian gateway with square piers and swept coping, and a main gateway at the south-west corner featuring square piers, screen walls, and iron gates.
