Description

Willow Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th and 18th centuries, with the west gable dated 1709. It features a timber frame that is rendered and colourwashed, along with later brick additions. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with black-glazed pantiles, while the rear range has plain tiles. The building has two storeys and attics, and is arranged in an L-shaped plan with a lobby entrance.

The main facade faces southeast and consists of four bays with 20th-century sash windows that have glazing bars. There is an off-centre gabled porch adorned with decorative bargeboards, and the doorcase includes moulded pilasters and a frieze, leading to a 20th-century door. Above the porch is a 20th-century three-light louvred window. An axial chimney stack opposite the entrance features four linked lozenge-shaped shafts.

The rear wall has 19th and 20th-century casements, a lean-to conservatory, and a pantiled lean-to in the angle. There is a 1½ storey range at the rear, which is brick and colourwashed. The ground floor openings have been altered, and there is an axial chimney stack with three square shafts. A gabled dormer on this range has a three-light casement. The north side of the rear range is pantiled and colourwashed, with altered segmental-headed ground floor openings and two three-light dormers that have shaped bargeboards on the gables.
