Description
All Hallows Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century and later, with a date of 1688 marked on the east gable. The building features a rendered and colour-washed exterior over a timber frame and clay lump, with a red brick front. It has a steeply-pitched roof covered in black glazed pantiles. The farmhouse is two storeys high with attics and has a rectangular plan.
The south facade is four windows wide with unequal bays, featuring 2 and 3-light casements that are 20th-century replacements. There are segmental heads over the ground floor openings, and an off-centre half-glazed entrance door located to the east. A large axial stack is positioned off-centre to the west, and there is an external chimney stack on the east gable.
The north gable is rendered and includes drip shelves, while a one-storey lean-to with a pantiled roof is located at the base of the gable. Additionally, there is a brick and pantile lean-to addition on the north side, which contains one old first-floor casement with leaded glazing. The eastern bay of the main block is entirely red brick and features two Gothick casements, with a single-light window at ground floor level and a 2-light window in the attic. The apex of the east gable is rendered and also has drip shelves.
