Description
The White House is an early 19th-century house constructed of stucco and colourwashed brickwork. It may incorporate elements of an earlier building, as indicated by the shallow brick pilasters and string courses on the southeast wall. The house has an 'L'-shaped plan and stands two storeys tall. The façade features five bays, a plinth, a string course, and a central porch made of stucco, complete with columns, abaci, pilasters, and an entablature. The windows are sash with glazing bars and shaped blind boxes. To the north, there is a bay window with a battlemented top, along with three additional sash windows with glazing bars. The rear of the house has lean-to additions with 19th and 20th-century casements, which are not considered of special interest.
