Description

Beech Cottage is a former cottage from the Elsing Hall estate, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and features a hipped thatched roof. Designed in the Gothic style, the cottage is one storey high with an attic. The front facade has three bays, including two 2-light windows with 2-centred Y-tracery and single metal casements. The central entrance is a 2-centred door also adorned with Y-traceried cover strips. At the rear, there are two recessed dormers, each with 2-light casement windows. The cottage has a single central axial stack and has later lean-to extensions on the side and rear.
