Offices. c1870. Painted brick with stone cornice and cills, slate roof with brick stacks to gable ends. Double-depth plan. Classical style. 2 storeys and semi-basement; 3-window range. Pilasters dentilled to the tops on each floor, to dentilled cornice returned at the sides; similar paired pilasters flank the central range and extend through the dentilled cornice to the high parapet which has a central clock; the outer sides of parapet sweep down to volutes resting on the cornice. The openings have semicircular arches with rounded arisses of 2 steps over plate-glass sash windows; the overlight to the door on right is similar to an upper sash. INTERIOR not inspected.
