Description
Nos. 5, 6 and 7 East Quay is a mid-19th century warehouse located in Bridgwater. The building is constructed of painted brick and features a slate roof with a rectangular plan. It stands three storeys tall and has a five-window range. The upper floors have 20th-century two-light casement windows set within gauged brick segmental arches. The façade includes pilasters with moulded capitals and a cornice that supports a continuous fascia, which extends around a narrow single-storey extension on the left side. The ground floor has plate-glass shop windows with two panes and moulded glazing bars, with doors positioned at the far right and left of the centre. The interior has not been inspected. Historically, in 1865, this building served as Harwood's Slate and Timber Wharf. The range to the right is now part of No. 4.
