Description
Highmor chest tomb, located 5 metres west of the west door of the Church of Saint Mary Magdalene, dates from the late 17th century. It is made of Ham stone and features a raised base with a moulded plinth. Each face has one fielded panel, with coffered pilasters on the flanks, and a heavily moulded hipped top. The inscription is very worn, but a date on the south flank appears to read 1697, while the surname Highmor is discernible on the north flank.
