Description

This is an unidentified chest tomb located about 4 metres east of the chancel of the Church of St Augustine. It dates from the late 17th century and is made of Ham stone. The tomb features a flat top with a cyma recta moulded cornice and a moulded plinth. Inscriptions on the north, west, and south faces are illegible, although the date 1675 may be discernible on the east face, which is plain.
