Description

The remains of a font or piscina are located in the churchyard, about one metre south of the chancel of the Church of St Augustine. This structure dates from the 14th to 15th century and is made of Ham stone. It stands approximately 250 millimetres high and has a diameter of 600 millimetres. The font is octagonal in shape and features quatrefoil decorated panels with rosettes, while one face is plain. The stone is significantly eroded.
