Description

This is a detached house and shop located 2 meters north of Stuckey's House in Long Sutton, likely built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from local lias stone, which is cut and squared with a pecked finish, and features a Welsh slate roof with stepped coped gables and stone chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays, with sash windows in plain openings. The windows have 16 panes below, set under voussoired flat arched heads, and 12 panes above, under timber lintels. The center bay contains a three-panel door in a plain opening. Attached to the south gable is a single-storey shop with a hipped Welsh slate roof, which has two large 48-pane shop windows flanking tall boarded doors. There is an outshut at the rear of the main house. The interiors have not been seen.
