Description
Little Thatch is a detached cottage, probably from the 18th century. It is constructed of local lias stone that has been cut, squared, and roughly coursed, with the front elevation rendered and colourwashed. The cottage features a thatched roof with gables; one gable is stepped while the other is finished with clay double Roman tiles. There are brick chimney stacks at each end. The building has two storeys and two bays, with two-light casement windows that have rectangular leaded panes and iron framed opening lights. Between the bays, there is a boarded door set in a later frame, which is sheltered by an open timber and thatched porch. Additionally, there is a single-storey extension with a clay double Roman tiled roof attached to the east gable. The interior has not been seen.
