Description

WEST HUNTSPILL CP MAIN ROAD (West side) ST34NW HUNTSPILL 2/68 No 102 (Ilex House) - - II

House. Late C18-early C19. Flemish bond brick, pantiled roof, coped verges, stone cornice, brick parapet with coping. Two storeys, 3 bays, sash windows with glazing bars, painted flat heads with stepped voussoirs. Central semi-circular head door opening, arched fanlight, 6-panelled door, top 4 panels glazed, wooden box hood on columns. Attached shop on roadside (Ilex Stores) is much altered and therefore not of special interest. Interior with coeval staircase, cornices, shutters and doors.
