Description
This is a milepost located on the roadside at West Huntspill, dating from the late 18th century. It features a low concrete pier that was renewed in the early 20th century. The milepost has an incised cast-iron plate facing the road, indicating "6 Miles to Bridgwater." It is part of the Bridgwater Turnpike Trust.
