Description

This is an early 19th-century house located on the west side of Main Road in Alstone, West Huntspill. The exterior is roughcast, with roofs covered in double-Roman and triple-Roman tiles. It has a cornice and a parapet with coping, along with brick stacks. The house is two storeys high and consists of a three-bay main section with a one-bay wing to the left. It features sixteen-pane sash windows with stepped voussoirs. A six-panelled door with a fanlight featuring radiating glazing bars is centrally positioned in the left three bays, and is sheltered by an ornamental cast-iron porch with a flat roof. French windows are present in the single-storey wing to the left.
