Description

This is an 18th-century house located on the north-west side of High Street in Rode. The house is constructed of coursed and squared rubble with a triple-Roman tile roof and brick end ridge stacks. It has a regular frontage and comprises a basement, two storeys, and an attic. There are two bays with 2-light stone-mullioned windows, featuring casements with glazing bars, and sash windows styled to match. A low door opening is located to the right of the ground floor, leading to a plank door. A main door opening is on the left return, with a 19th-century four-panelled door and a slab stone hood supported by cut stone brackets.
