Description

Nos 1 and 3 High Street are a pair of attached houses dating from the 17th century. They are constructed of random rubble with stone tile roofs, featuring two hipped roofed casement dormers also covered in stone tiles, and two end brick ridge stacks. The houses have a one-to-two bay arrangement and include two-light restored chamfered stone-mullioned windows. There are two door openings with ogee-moulded stone surrounds, each with vertical plank doors, which are accessed by a flight of rubble steps that have a plain wrought iron handrail.
