Description
The Blindhouse or Lockup, attached to the south-west corner of Manor Farmhouse, is a village lockup likely built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of ham stone in near-ashlar style and features a stone slab pitched roof with plain gables. The south-west gable has a studded boarded door. The interior has not been seen. Although the exact date of construction is uncertain, a letter from 1911 mentions that it had not been used for many years. Manor Farmhouse itself is not considered of special interest.
