Detached cottage. Probably C18. Ham stone cut and squared, north gable rendered; thatched roof with stepped coped gable to south, plain gable to north; brick chimney stacks. Two storeys, 3 bays. Small pane casement windows below, in plain ashlar surrounds; above 2-light horizontal bar casements set partly into roof, that to bay 3 having coped gable; boarded door with inserted light in plain opening under thatched hood on timber brackets. Interior not seen. Two metres west of house are railings in low stone wall having alternate hoops and arrowheads, with cast tops to standards, later gate opposite floor; rubble stone return walls, all contributing to setting of house and to streetscene.
