Description

The gateway to Ranmore Cottage dates from the 13th to 14th century. It features coursed rubble Doulting stone piers with stone coping at the ends. The gateway has a Perpendicular style, with a sectional arch that includes a hollow chamfer and ogee mouldings. It also has quatrefoil spandrel panels and an expressed keystone, along with bolection moulded springings.
